I have a pair of 7.62x39 uppers with nitrided barrels on them and take had proficient results for the express time that I've used them. Just a couple hundred rounds, so it's a small sample size. When I was at CMP, I had no problems keeping all of my shots in the black with iron sights at 200 yards using crappy Tula ammo from Walmart.
From my other recent experiences with PSA, it really ends up existence a gamble on whether or not you get some something that's a good value or a consummate pile of doodoo. It'south too bad, because I accept had a lot of great luck with PSA uppers when they had FN barrels, only that good will has since eroded.

Ah ok. I'thou having a fourth dimension find a adept 10.5" barrel that has the slots for the taper pins.

I have a psa nitride and a psa melonite barrel. Besides, take a CHF CL PSA barrel from FN. They are all expert to go for what I practise. I feel like the CHF is a better barrel but if I had never used the internet to learn near them I absolutely could not tell a deviation except the melonite and nitride barrels are darker and slick on the surface, unlike the phosphate finished CHF barrel. I've shot groups with all of them too and if I actually tried to tell yous i is more authentic than the other I'd exist lying lol. I do know that my CHF has held up corking with over 10k of garbage wolf, wpa, some colour bear, and tula .223 through it. Still shoots tight with the good stuff!

From what I've read, for the nigh part CHF is going to take a little ameliorate life simply thats only if y'all shoot alot which I dont. I recall I'thou going to take the take chances, might stop up selling it afterwards, who knows.

From what I've read, for the most office CHF is going to have a little better life but thats just if you shoot alot which I dont. I call up I'm going to take the risk, might stop up selling information technology later, who knows.
Hell man for what they cost purchase two. I recollect unless you are shooting squirrels in the face at 500 yards, ii or three ok barrels are better than ane actually good one, which in my case I would ruin with steel instance ammo anyways.
I just really want to know where they are fabricated. The secret scares me.

Looks similar we got ourselves a gambler hither :hat:

In honesty though, PSA does sell some decent AR-15 stuff. It's merely everything else they've tried ends up being a hot mess. You'll probably be fine.

I heard somewhere on the internet that the Freedom line of barrels is made in Korea, but that isn't the worst place always IMO.

Yea I hear ya. I dont accept a lot of builds going on so I would rather buy quality but goose egg is in stock which I detect a lilliputian weird. No Daniel Defense 10.3s, no LMT 10.v uppers, and almost every other barrel maker I checked that offers a 10.v with FSB taper pivot cuts is out of stock.

I but shoot brass so maybe that will aid.

Yea I hear ya. I dont have a lot of builds going on so I would rather buy quality but cypher is in stock which I find a petty weird. No Daniel Defence 10.3s, no LMT x.five uppers, and virtually every other barrel maker I checked that offers a 10.v with FSB taper pin cuts is out of stock.

I only shoot brass then maybe that volition help.

I really like the article on lucky gunner's sight about the bimetal jacketed bullets found in most steel case ammo vs the copper jacketed bullets in brass example ammo, it's actually interesting if you oasis't seen it. They do a 10k round test on 4 identical rifles.

Nothing incorrect with buying quality human! If someone was sending me smoking deals on Daniel Defense force or LMT similar the way PSA blast out their stuff on email I'd probably accept something nicer than what I take now lol.

Good luck on your build with whatever you buy!
